Railroad Switch Install
The switch was completely destroyed in a derailment and removed to restore service. The carrier ordered a new switch in accordance with their standard. It was larger than the existing switches on the lead. The company they initially hired said it couldn’t be installed due to the size and left the carrier no options.
We designed the switch to fit inside the lead restoring access to the west end of their track that had been out of service for over a year.
